Before I set off on the Appalachian Trail, someone told me that after a few weeks, I’d send my cameras home—because eventually, the “green tunnel” starts to look the same mile after mile. I don’t think they were wrong, but those words stuck with me. I was at a crossroads in life, needing to challenge myself in a way that would reshape how I see the world as an artist. I wasn’t just looking for picturesque scenes. I felt a deep desire to capture the grit and truth of the trail—moments where the real story was felt within, not merely seen from a viewpoint. The trail became my canvas, where I could immerse myself in creativity for months on end while testing the limits of my mind and body. It allowed me to channel my personal emotions and experiences into my photographs, connecting with the rawness of the moment. The trail always provides—both in trials and inspiration, and through this collection, I hope to share that journey in its most honest form.
Trail.
